Introduction

You have downloaded the Caura for iOS or Android app (“the App”), and by doing so accepted the Caura Services as detailed in the Caura Terms along with Caura’s Privacy Policy.

If your vehicle and lease agreement is with Lex Autolease Limited (“Lex”) and was facilitated through an eligible Broker (“Broker”), you can link the App via an app module (“the Lex and Broker App Module”) to allow you to see certain elements of your lease information.

The Lex and Broker App Module services

The Caura Terms along with Caura’s Privacy Policy apply to the App and by linking the App with the Lex and Broker App Module, you will be able to:

• view certain vehicle and lease information from Lex which will include payments made and/or due under the lease;
• click on a link which will take you to the Lex "manage my vehicle" system (“MMV”) where you will be able to securely manage your vehicle with Lex as you can today on the Lex MMV portal. By clicking the link you will not be required to complete any additional reauthentication;
• view, search and configure a vehicle when looking for a new or replacement vehicle;
• see different offers for vehicles, if available, within the App in line with your marketing permissions granted to Caura;
• check your pre-eligibility for a vehicle. You will link directly to Lex to undertake such pre-eligibility checks and assessment; and
• select a vehicle and Caura will pass you and the vehicle information to the Broker to allow the Broker to continue with and fulfil their role in facilitating the lease and hire of the vehicle to you through Lex.

How Caura, Lex and the Broker use and process your data

When you link the App with the Lex and Broker App Module, to deliver theApp Module Services, Caura, Lex and the Broker will collect, process, store and transmit data and you consent to the following:

• certain vehicle and lease information being processed, shared and stored by Caura to allow you to see such information within the App and Lex and Broker App Module;
• subject to the appropriate lawful basis for processing, Caura may show offers of vehicles and/or manufacturers that may be of interest to you;
• Caura collecting, processing and sharing data and information regarding the usage, engagement and other App data and this data being shared with Lex and/or your Broker;
• Caura, Lex and the Broker sharing data, information, content and reporting data to allow the App and the App Module Services to be delivered;
• Caura passing your data, current vehicle and selected new vehicle information to the Broker to complete and fulfil your lease requirements now and in the future; and
• the results of any pre-eligibility check in relation to a vehicle, being shown in the one-time session following the pre-eligibility check. No pre-eligibility data will be shared or stored by Caura.

Caura, Lex and the Broker are acting as independent data controllers. In addition, Caura is processing the vehicle and lease information for and on behalf of Lex.

These Lex and Broker App Module terms and conditions are additional to the Caura Terms and Caura’s Privacy Policy. Credit broking and commission

Caura and your Broker are both acting as credit brokers. Caura will introduce you to Lex. Following this introduction, both Caura and the Brokerwill receive a commission. The commission is a fixed amount of £30 to Caura and £750 to the Broker. The commission will be the same, no matter how much thevehicle costs or how much you pay to lease the vehicle. Lex will confirm the amount and require your consent to the commission if you wish to proceed with a new or replacement vehicle.

You may end your right to use the Lex and Broker App Module

You have the right to end and disconnect the Lex and Broker App Module and/or the App at any time. You should contact us in-app or email support@caura.com to do this. You may continue to use the App if you disconnect the Lex and Broker App Module. If you no longer use the App, you will not have access to the Lex and Broker App Module and all data will be deleted.

Caura may end your right to use the Lex and Broker App Module

In line with the Caura Terms Caura can also end the Lex and Broker App Module at any time.

Updates and changes

Caura may change or update these Lex and Broker App Module terms and conditions at any time, for example, to reflect changes in law or the functionality of the services offered through it. Caura will notify changes to these Lex and Broker App Module terms in advance via push notifications or any other manner Caura deem appropriate. Your continued use of the Lex and Broker App Module will confirm your acceptance of the revised terms. Please check the terms whenever you use the App and Lex and Broker App Module to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.

Who are Lex

Lex is your lease provider. Lex Autolease Limited are registered in England and Wales under company number 1090741 and have their registered office at 25 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7HN. They are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under registration number 723570 for credit-related regulated activities and insurance mediation.

Who are the Broker

The Broker is the vehicle broker who facilitated your lease agreement with Lex. The details of your Broker will be displayed to you within the App atthe time you connect your Lex agreement to Caura. These details will include their name, address, FCA number, and a link to their privacy policy so that you can see how they use, process and store your information.
