ABOUT CAURA

Making life easier for motorists

About Caura

Caura was founded in 2018 by a team of auto enthusiasts and engineers with a simple mission: to make life easier for motorists. The inspiration came when holding a parking ticket in one hand, and a phone in the other. Roads are becoming increasingly digitised, and the only constant is that every vehicle carries a smartphone on every journey.

The team saw this as an opportunity to help rebalance the roads in favour of the driver.

Last year, UK motorists paid nearly £500m in parking fines alone on top of £1.5bn in revenue. We don’t think that’s fair. Caura addresses this by cutting out the confusion and allowing your phone to take care of everything.

Gone are the days of remembering different logins and a folder full of apps for your car. With Caura enter your details once and you’re free to drive with confidence that you’ll always make the right payments at the right times.

Our launch products change the game for motorists. At Caura Labs - our skunkworks R&D division - we’re looking to change the status quo of the industry. We’re working with Imperial College London and the University of Oxford to develop patented technology that will shape how the roads of tomorrow operate.
